The sixty-eighth MeetUp of the Machine Learning Singapore Group, was titled : “Personal Agents - Cloud and Edge” - and was a themed event, coinciding with the rapid increase in interest in the OpenClaw movement.

My Presentation

My talk was titled “UndercoverAgent - An Agent in your Pocket” (which was an update on the original project title of “MobileClaw”, where the focus was on being an OpenClaw alternative on the mobile phone). It had the following outline :

Other Presentations

The MeetUp included two other speakers: Teoh Wei Zhen and Sam Witteveen:

  • In his lightning talk, Wei Zhen described CausalTraj, his AAAI 2026 workshop paper on generative modelling for sports analytics - jointly modelling all interacting entities in the game to achieve SoTA performance and laying the foundation for controllable gameplay simulation.

  • Sam broke down how OpenClaw works, its key components and the lessons that you can take from it for building your own personal agents with personality, tools, skills - including the stack that he used to create a successful system.
